Continuously checking for new content every few years was what I was trying to say in the second part.

I do like to repeat the game from the start because I like to have the plot fresh in my memory. 

Let me rephrase what I meant, "Is this a live service game, is this going to be like one piece or death note?"

I think that when you answered that the story has a planned ending, that was good enough.

I played the game a few years ago and I want to play it again and check what's new. 

Would I have to be continuously doing this over the years or it will come a point in which at least the main storyline is closed off?

Play once in a lifetime. That one is also really good from this developer, and it is finished.
